HYPNOTHERAPY

Hypnotherapists are not licensed healing arts practitioners. Some  conditions require a medical or psychological referral.

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state. We each experience various levels of hypnosis every day, although we may not always recognize it as hypnosis.  Being emotionally affected by something you consciously know is not real - this is an example of a state of hypnosis that anyone who has ever seen a movie or enjoyed music will understand.

Hypnotherapy is a process whereby a properly trained and certified Hypnotherapist can help the conscious mind and the subconscious mind begin to work together toward your goals, instead of working against one another, as is often the case. Change is not easy, because the subconscious doesn't like change. When the subconscious behaviors are modified to match the conscious desires, then you have the entirety of your mind power working toward your goals.  There are nearly 150 different things with which we know Hypnotherapy can help.   For our purposes, here is the simple definition of Hypnosis - It is a focused state of mind and relaxed physical state which allows the Hypnotherapist to work directly with your subconscious mind to help facilitate success in whatever goal or positive change you desire.  Positive shifts are closer than you think!

Most hypnotherapy sessions last approximately 50 minutes (1 therapeutic hour), however the first session is unique and can sometimes run up to 75 minutes.
